Gratitude

Dear Singapore Students,

I know that many of you get so stressed out and overwhelmed by the unrelenting pressure for grades that you completely lose sight of what is most precious in life. Many of you lose sight of the true value and beauty in life itself and of the many blessings that surround you.

Without a doubt, life in Singapore is intensely competitive and yes, grades and material attainments are important. But as a teacher, I feel it is important to emphasise to you that life is about so much more. All the A’s, all the money, all the big houses in the world would mean nothing if you don’t realise the true beauty and meaning of life. It’s not easy to find sometimes, but you must search for it. Hopefully this video will set you on your way…
